Discussion
For some the idea that there's no other life forms in the universe is ridiculous. But for others they firmly believe that we are the only ones. The science of extraterrestrial life in all its forms is known as astrobiology and is an exciting topic of discussion. Active ongoing research has been taken place for years now in an attempt to look for signs of extraterrestrial life. The concept of extraterrestrial life has had a big cultural impact, especially in science fiction works and gained more public interest into what else could potentially be out there in a galaxy far far away... But what if there were to be extraterrestrial life? How would we as humans come to acceptance and go about it? What if they're hostile? As a species is it worth attempting to make contact with any extraterrestrials or would this lead to our downfall? What do you think?
